Martin secures pole and sprint, but the focus is on tomorrow.

Martin wins the Saturday Sprint after setting a new track record in the morning, thus securing the pole position. The Spanish rider starts like a lightning bolt and remains the leader from the first lap. Johann Zarco finishes in ninth position.

Jorge Martin:

“When I saw Binder overtake Marini, I pushed a little harder. I struggled with tire wear midway through the race, and in the end, I was at the limit, but I’m very happy; it was necessary.”

Johann Zarco:

“I gained two positions; I had a strong start, but battling with Alex consumed my tires too much, and afterward, it all became too complicated. Let’s hope to do better tomorrow.”
